Scheduled Parks Works at Gaiaring Gardens

Council’s contractors will be carrying out construction works to install irrigation within Gaiarine Gardens leash free dog park located within Gaiarine Gardens, Pagewood. It is anticipated the works will commence from late April 2017 and take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

The installation of an irrigation system will assist with the maintenance of turf and landscaping and improve overall turf cover within the leash free area. The leash free dog park will not be accessible whilst works are being carried out. Access to Gaiarine Gardens and the playground will not be affected.

Council apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause. There are several leash free parks that will be open for use during this time. These include:

  • Hayden Place leash free dog park in Sir Joseph Banks Park, off Hayden Place, Botany
  • Firmstone Reserve leash free dog park, located off Murray Road, Pagewood
  • Astrolabe Park, Astrolabe Road, Pagewood
  • Sparks Street Reserve leash free dog park in Sparks Street Reserve, Sparks Street, Mascot
  • High Street Reserve leash free dog park in High Street Reserve, High Street, Mascot
