Tree Prunning - Botany Rd between the Mill Pond & Lord Street, Botany

09 December 2016, 12:00 AM

Several trees along the eastern side of Botany Road between the Mill Pond and Lord Street, Botany are to be pruned or removed due to declining health.

Councils Tree Preservation Officer inspected the subject trees and found them to have a short remaining useful life expectancy due to a combination of multiple branch failures, poor structure and decay due to insect damage.

These works are scheduled to be carried out between Thursday 8th December between 10.30pm and 4.00am.

Due to the road being under the control of the Roads and Maritime Services, these works are subject to the hours of occupation stipulated by the Authority.

Council is very aware of the need to minimise inconvenience to residents and apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause. If you experience any difficulties during these works please contact Councils Tree Management Officer, Carl Briscoe on 02 9366 3754.
