STREET TREE REMOVAL 50 TO 66 BAY STREET, BOTANY

30 September 2016, 12:00 AM

Council would like to advise nearby residents of the scheduled removal of Seven (7) Banksia serrata (Old Man Banksia) on the nature strip between 50 – 66 Bay Street Botany. Work will take place between Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th September between 7:30am and 3:30pm

Council’s Tree Management Officer inspected the subject trees finding them to have a short remaining useful life expectancy due to conflict with local infrastructure and the programmed upgrade of the adjacent footpath.

The trees will be replaced following the upgrade of the footpath along this section of street with a suitable species as per the Councils Street Tree Master Plan

To assist in the efficient operation of the work, please avoid parking your vehicle/s on the street in the work zone during this period.

Council is very aware of the need to minimise inconvenience to residents and apologises for any inconvenience these works may cause. If you experience any difficulties during the works please contact the Councils Senior Tree Management Officer, Carl Briscoe on 02 9366 3754.
