Beauty & Hair Shops

Haridressing
Beauty salons, hairdressers and skin penetration businesses whose activities are regulated by public health laws (below), must notify the  Botany Bay City Council if they:
  • close down/stop trading
  • move to new premises
  • open another business
  • sell to a new proprietor
  • change their trading name.

New businesses must complete a development application form, while existing businesses with a change of circumstances should submit the Premises Registration Application Form to the Botany Bay City Council to notify us of a new business or a change of ownership. A Council staff member may contact you if we require more information about your notification.

Please note that a fee is payable for some notifications.

What is a Skin Penetration Business?
